Because editorial independence is paramount, the journal does not intervene in editorial decisions. All manuscripts published by Percursos & IDEIAS are peer-reviewed and checked out by the Editorial board. No member of the journal’s staff is involved in manuscripts acceptance decisions. Academic editors are expected to decide according to the acceptability of reviewers’ comments and author responses and the general scientific quality of the article.
Editorial staff or editors’ own academic work is assigned to at least two independent outside reviewers. Other editorial members without any conflict of interest with the author will decide whether to accept his/her manuscript.
