Abstract

This paper aims to analyse how the commitment between manufacturer and its distributor is generated, having as main objective the identification of prior steps of the commitment. To meet our goal, a model supported by the relationship marketing theory is used and taking into account the manufacturer’s perspective, empirical validation is carried out in wood home furniture sector. To accomplish this work, an analysis of structured equations was carried out based on a sample of 101 enterprises.
