Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development of the logistic operators (third-party logistics) and of the sector that assures the services in the supply chain (supply chain management), has been studied in the literature by different authors, due to its increasing importance in the development of the international trade. This article presents a research proposal of the subject aiming to answer the key question: \u201cWhat is the impact of the logistic operators in the development of the Portuguese exports and imports?\u201d The literature review on this topic allowed us to identify the methodology to be applied that combined quantitative aspects (questionnaire addressed to the companies of the transforming industry) with a theoretical model of multivariedanalysis. This methodology will allow us to identify the determinants that have more impact in the development of the Portuguese exports and imports. It also suggests tracks for future research in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
