Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Law No. 43\/2017 was published on June 14, entered into force the following day and introduces significant changes to the NRAU, which deserve our attention and which we propose to appoint and debate. The purpose of this article is to deal briefly with those changes, their purposes, as well as to make a brief analysis of the innovations introduced. At a time when legislative action is being taken to prevent exorbitant rents and inflation in the rental market, the government and other parties with parliamentary seats have presented a set of legislative proposals that are being debated in the respective committees for further voting. We will discuss the perspectives and future trends of the urban lease regime. The new Law 30\/2018 of July 16 will not be neglected in this work, as it came to create an extraordinary and transitional regime to be in force until March 31, 2019, aimed at the protection of elderly or disabled people who are renters and have resided in the same leased for more than 15 years, in these cases temporarily suspending the periods of opposition to renewal and the possibility of denunciation by landlords of leases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
