Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of this paper is to understand the cinema\u2019s pedagogic relevance for social work education. After seeking for movie\u2019s specificity, the canonic distinction between facts and fictions is questioned. It is also stated that cinema is brilliantly competent in breaking the day-by-day indifference, and, at the end, a declaration is made \u2013 supported by various examples (movies) related with poverty and other social problems: social cinema exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
